On Saturday morning June 12th, Restoration Outreach Programs will be hosting its 2nd Annual Pedal 4 A Purpose Bike Ride and Fundraiser at Denver Seminary. Like last year, Pedal 4 A Purpose 2010 will feature rides for riders of all abilities, along with great prizes, food and entertainment.
Unlike last year, this year's Pedal 4 A Purpose offers a 50/50 sharing of funds raised by teams representing their church or other nonprofit organization. We hope this might be a great win-win opportunity for the Body of Christ to partner with ROP in meeting the needs of the poor living along East Colfax as well as the needs of those served by other ministries. Several organizations have already chosen to take advantage of this offer, but we have room for more. So if you know a church or nonprofit that might be interested in partnering with ROP in Pedal 4 A Purpose 2010, please contact me.
Of course, if you, your family and friends just want to come out and enjoy a great day of fellowship and exercise with other ROP supporters, that's okay too. It should be a lot of fun.
Our Registration website with lots of additional information is now open at www.Pedal4aPurpose.com. All riders must register to ride. However, it is not nencessary to ride in order to participate. "Virtual riders" may go directly to the Fundraising Page to begin fundraising for ROP and our partner churches and nonprofits. You can sign up as an individual or as member of a fundraising team.
